TODAY - our crawling logic is strictly based on the URL's structure.
We do not show referral page linkages. ( ie Parent < > Child relationships )
What does this technically mean?
Let's take this page: https://creativesanctuary.com/psychotherapist-blog/
1 - it has multiple child pages that are not a subset of the directory /psychotherapist-blog/
Child page = https://creativesanctuary.com/coping-with-anxiety/
and as you can see, its full URL is not showing that it is inside the subset directory of page `/psychotherapist-blog/
Here's another example:
Starting Parent Page = https://www.maxburst.com/blog
Child pages =
https://www.maxburst.com/blog/page/2/
https://www.maxburst.com/blog/page/3/
https://www.maxburst.com/blog/page/9/
That is why our maps are different from screaming frog.
There is no right or wrong it's just about which logic to use.
Now, having said that, we are looking into the ability to offer this alternative parent-child
logic structure in the very near future! No exact ETA at the moment, but we recognize the need for this.
